This week, after further changes in the wireframes, we did our third usability test.

We met Ofir and he helped us refine what we are testing this week and we selected the following questions for the test.

Our test is divided into two sections:

Section One: Questions about the user's experience with the current app, what they have seen, and how they feel and think about it.

Section Two: Examination of future additions and other things they would like to see/improve/preserve.

We interviewed five new users, all small business owners in the food industry. We presented the application to them and then asked them the questions.

From the interviews, the following points repeated:

  • The application is convenient, intuitive, practical, and creative.

  • The text is not clear enough and does not prompt action - visual aids are needed.

  • A sense of pain due to expected losses, a reflection that they may not have been aware of.

  • A convenient and efficient feature for viewing data (sort by time/money).

  • They prefer to use solutions from within the restaurant, such as promotions, as well as recipes.

  • An essential insights window for future optimization and problem prevention; there is a desire to be aware of saving with the help of the application.

  • The need for call-to-action through communication and not just reminders.

  • Desire for the app to learn the user and his supply for future optimization purposes.

We look forward to implementing those points and continuing to explore and improve our app.
