This week at the studio, we worked on the script, edited it according to the feedback we received and organized it in a table that shows what will appear in the video while the narrator talks and presents our app.

We continued working on our app based on last week's feedback -

we added graphs to the insight page, introduced a recipe selection flow, and added some more nice features, such as the shuffle option.

Accordingly, this week we did our 6th usability test and interviewed five new users.

We wanted to check what users would expect to see on the inventory screen so that we could design it accordingly.

From the interviews this week, these points were repeatedly mentioned:

  • The five new users described the app as intuitive.

  • There is a desire to see the inventory screen as a proper inventory management screen - all existing items in the storage displayed in an organized, clear, and transparent manner to help prevent mistakes and save money.

  • The insight page motivates action with the savings graph - a desire to improve and continue maintaining high savings data.

  • There is a need to work on the recipe page and adjust it so that returning to it is easy after approval.

Finally, this week we met with Joanna to discuss the app's GUI.

It was an interesting and enriching meeting; Joanna brought up additional ideas, provided another professional perspective, and gave us solutions to implement questions we asked.
