This week, following the meeting with Hadas, we visited seven more business owners to assess whether the solution we are offering is indeed relevant to them and whether they would use it. All of them instinctively responded that a recipe proposal could help them with ideas they might not have thought of. Furthermore, they acknowledged that such a solution could significantly enhance the efficiency of their supply management processes.

On Wednesday, we had speed mentoring with four different mentors, all of whom identified the pain points of the target audience, understanding the need for finding a solution for them. Additionally, through the discussions, the need to anticipate the solution stage arose, not trying to extinguish fires but rather to prevent them altogether. There was also an agreement about the understanding that behavioral change needs to be implemented, not just operational change, in an attempt to solve the problem.

However, the mentors also presented divided opinions on the solution stages – some felt that a physical solution is the right and relevant one for the problem, yet there were some who raised negative points about the idea.

Towards the next meeting on Wednesday, we prepared a list of feedback and notifications that the application provides to the user during usage and routine. This week, we are supposed to start thinking about how the application will look.

As part of this ongoing process, we've begun brainstorming names, and currently, we're placing "Wastewise" in the top spot. This choice comes from the feeling that there isn't an emphasis on the type of waste involved -

for business owners, financial waste is likely the most painful and environmental waste is a sore point for us.

We wish ourselves, and the rest of the teams, good luck in the upcoming week as we begin to define our application!

Keep your fingers crossed for us.
